Mavronero renews its organic certification inspection with LACON

A positive inspection outcome marks another important step in maintaining our organic certification and commitment to responsible farming.

Maintaining our organic commitment

On 3 November 2026, Mavronero welcomed LACON to the farm for an inspection as part of the process to renew our organic certification.

We are pleased to share that the inspection had a favourable outcome, marking a positive result for our ongoing commitment to organic agriculture.

Organic certification is not simply a label. It represents an ongoing responsibility to follow established standards, maintain appropriate practices and ensure transparency in how agricultural activities are managed.

What does an organic inspection involve?

Regular inspections are an important part of the organic certification process. They help verify that a farm’s practices and relevant documentation comply with the applicable organic standards.

During the inspection, the certification body reviews the farm’s activities and records to assess whether the required conditions continue to be met.

These checks help ensure that organic production remains accountable and that certified farms continue to uphold the standards behind the organic label.

A continued commitment to responsible farming

At Mavronero, organic farming is part of our approach to working with the land. It requires consistency, careful management and attention to the practices we follow throughout the year.

A favourable inspection is an encouraging recognition of these ongoing efforts and motivates us to continue developing our farm responsibly.

We would like to thank the LACON team for visiting Mavronero and carrying out the inspection.

We remain committed to growing responsibly and maintaining the standards that guide our work. 🌱
